Mi Mix 3 is expected to feature a near bezel-less full screen display with a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen. Also, this phone has been promoted with a retractable module, which not only activates the selfie cameras, but also allows 3D facial recognition, as per the rumours. The phone is expected to run a new processor, with leaks indicating that it could be the Snapdragon 855/8150 SoC. Since Qualcomm has not officially announced the name of the chipset, one can only know for sure from the launch event itself.

Leaked images of the phone do not show any fingerprint scanner, suggesting that Xiaomi could have introduced a fingerprint sensor under the display.

Mi Mix 3 is expected to offer 5G connectivity support that has been confirmed by Xiaomi. While Mi Mix 3 should come with an 8GB RAM base variant, the phone will also offer a 10GB RAM option. The phone will offer a dual-rear camera configuration with 20MP+16MP, which will come with enhancements for low light mode.

The front camera is expected to sport a 20MP sensor, while the retractable camera has been rumoured to offer facial recognition through additional sensors. A recent leak had priced the 8GB RAM variant at 3700 yuan (Rs 39,050 approx.), which can only be confirmed from the launch event.
