Androideo has recently published a 360-degree video that has spotted the successor of Zenfone Max Pro M1 as Zenfone Max Pro M2. This video has revealed both the phone’s design and key specifications. The Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is said to release along with the Zenfone Max M2. Though the expected date for their launch is December 11, still we do not know their release date in India.
What the video showcased
As per the video, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 has a OnePlus 6 – like notch along with bezels on both sides and a chin. The notch seems to hold a camera that is said to be there for enabling Face Unlock.
The phone looks different from its predecessor Zenfone Max Pro M1 from the aspect of backside. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 has aluminum back whereas the upcoming phone will come with a glass back.
A dual rear camera with vertical stack could be the major feature of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2. An LED flash module will support this dual camera. A screenshot in this video suggests that this phone has one 12MP Sony IMX486 primary and a 5MP secondary camera on the rear side. Sony’s primary camera could also support EIS (Elliptical Image Stabilisation) and PDAF (Phase Detection Auto Focus) to capture enhanced shots.
On the front side, the Zenfone Max Pro M2 would have a 13MP camera and a soft light LED flash would support it.
Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 Specifications shown in video
As per the video, we can see a big 6.2-inch display with a screen aspect ratio of 19:9. The Snapdragon 660 processor will power it and the phone will be based on Android 8.1 Oreo. A robust 5000 mAh battery would never let the phone down for a long time!
Talking about the storage, the Asus Zenfone Max Pro M2 is expected to come with two versions: 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM. Internal storage could be either 64GB or 128GB respectively.
We do not have any information regarding price and India launch date of this awesome phone to date, but we can certainly assume that it will release in the next month.
