In the Indian market, it is compared to cars like Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Hyundai i20, Toyota Glanza, Volkswagen Polo, Ford Freestyle, and Honda Jazz.

The Altroz is one of the safest cars in the country, given a 5-star rating by NCAP. That is, this car will protect your life during a road accident. Tata Altroz in India has an initial ex-showroom price of Rs 5.29 lakh in the Indian market.


The ground clearance of the Tata Altroz is 165 millimeters. At the same time, its length is 3990 millimeters, width 1755 millimeters, and height 1523 millimeters. Its wheelbase is 2501 millimeters.


Tata Altroz has a 37-liter fuel tank.


It can seat five people simultaneously.


Tata Altroz comes with two engines in the Indian market. These include petrol and diesel.

  • PETROL: A 1.2-liter Revotron engine has been given for power in its petrol trim. Its 1199 cc three-cylinder engine generates a maximum power of 86 PS at 6000 rpm and a peak torque of 113 Nm at 3300 RPM. Its engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission.
  • DIESEL: A 1.5-liter turbocharged Revotron engine has been given for power in its diesel trim. Its 1497 cc four-cylinder engine generates a maximum power of 90 PS at 4000 rpm and peak torque of 200 Nm at 1250-3000 rpm. Its engine is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission.


The front of the Tata Altroz has a disc brake. At the same time, a drum brake has been given in its rear.


The Tata Altroz gets a coil spring and shock absorber suspension with a twist-beam at the rear. At the same time, dual path independent MacPherson Strut suspension with coil spring is given in its front.
