Skoda Kodiaq 2022 To Be Launched On Monday With 9 Airbags
Skoda is all set to launch its facelift SUV Skoda Kodiaq in India. Tomorrow i.e. on Monday, the company will present its new car. The company first introduced the Skoda Kodiaq in 2017 but withdrew it about two years ago due to BS6 norms. The Kodiaq is the first Skoda car to be launched in India this year. After this, the company is going to bring its premium sedan Slavia.
The Skoda Kodiaq SUV, which is going to be launched in India on Monday, was launched in the global market only last year. 2022 Skoda Kodiaq will come with several updates. Changes have been made in the exterior and interior design. To further improve the performance of this car, many improvements have also been made in terms of aerodynamics. This car is being produced at the plant located in Aurangabad, Maharashtra.
Skoda Kodiaq 2022 Design Changes And Features Also New
As far as the model and design of this SUV are concerned, then it will get a new grille, new LED daytime running lamp signet, and new bumpers. The rear and tail lamps have also been changed. A large dual-tone cabin has been given in the interior. An eight-inch touch screen infotainment system has been given on the dashboard, which will also get inbuilt navigation and wireless connectivity. A 10.25-inch digital driver display will also be available.
Skoda Kodiaq 2022 Petrol Engine
The new 2022 Skoda Kodiaq SUV will come with a new 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine. This engine will generate 190 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. A 7-speed DSG gearbox will be available with this engine. It will be available with AWD (All-Wheel Drive) system which will be standard across the model lineup. There will be no diesel engine option with this SVU.
2022 Skoda Kodiaq 9 Airbags
In terms of safety too, many features have been given in this car. Nine airbags will be given in this SUV. Apart from this, many features like ESC, MCB, AFS, ABS, and ASR will also be available in the SUV. This car can be launched for around Rs 35 lakh (ex-showroom). Its previous model started from Rs 33 lakh. It will compete with vehicles like Volkswagen’s Tiguan and Hyundai’s Tucson.
