New Kia Niro Full Electric SUV Launch in 2022 With Bold Look

South Korea’s leading automaker Kia has unveiled its new generation Kia Niro SUV at the Seoul Mobility Show. The SUV comes with a new ‘Opposites United’ design philosophy with a bolder look than the first generation. The New Kia Niro SUV will be showcased at the event till December 5. The design of the second-generation Korean SUV seems to be inspired by the 2019 HabaNiro concept car. The signature ‘tiger nose’ grille has been redesigned for the new Niro.

New Kia Niro Look and Design

The front grille of the car now extends from the hood down to the fenders. It also gets ‘Heartbeat’ LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL). Overall, the Kia Niro sports a stylish and bold crossover look and a hi-tech two-tone body. Boomerang-shaped rear taillights are found at the rear of the car.

New Kia Niro Interior

The interior of the Kia Niro also sees many major changes. Its new dashboard will be reminiscent of the Kia EV6. It has a dual-screen, which is divided into two segments. The first screen displaying the counters extends to the right in the second slab, it is slightly slanted which shows the multimedia system.

Underneath it is a floating center console with glossy black accents, with an electronic gearshift wheel at the center. The audio-visual screen and air vents are incorporated within the modern dash design’s diagonal gaps. Whereas the ambient mood lighting is quite pleasing and makes the interior quite special.

Kia has used recycled wallpaper for the headliner and seats in organic polyurethane and textile fibers made from eucalyptus leaves. The all-new Niro also gets a “Greenzone” driving mode. It automatically switches from hybrid to electric as per the wishes of the driver.

2022 Kia Niro Launch

No information has been shared about the range of engines of the new Kia Niro. However, it is clear that the SUV will be available in a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or electric version. It is likely to hit the market in the second half of 2022.
