The overall profile of the new Mahindra eXUV300 will be the same as the XUV300 with a regular petrol engine. However, some major changes will also be seen in it.
The eXUV300 gets new closed grilles, special LED headlights with blue graphics, new bumpers, and many other significant changes.
Talking about the interior, it has got many features like a new big pop-out style touchscreen infotainment system, new seat upholstery, wireless charger, new steering.
Mahindra eXUV300 Price
It will be the first Made-in-India electric SUV in India to be imported to Europe and other international markets. As for the price, according to the report, the company can launch it in the price band of Rs 15 lakh to Rs 18 lakh.
What Is The Expected Launch Date Of Mahindra eXUV300?
Mahindra may launch its compact electric SUV eXUV300 later this year or early next year. However, the company has not made any official disclosure about the launch of the eXUV300. It will take on the Tata Nexon EV, the best-selling electric car at the moment. Hence the company can keep its price competitive with the Nexon EV.
Who will be the competitors of Mahindra eXUV300?
Mahindra XUV300 will provide a range of 375 km on an electric single charge. The company will bring its electric car in two variants. In which the standard variant will give a range of about 200 km.
At the same time, the Long Range variant will get a range of 375 km, which is better than its direct rival Tata Nexon EV in this segment. Let us know that Nexon EV claims to give a certified range of 312 km on a full charge.
However, the range of eXUV300 is yet to be certified by the Automotive Research Association of India (ARAI). This institution issues the official certificate of the driving range of the vehicles after testing them. However, Mahindra says it has full faith in the range figures of this car.
Mahindra eXUV300 Platform
The XUV300 Electric is built on the MESMA 350 (Mahindra Electric Scalable and Modular Architecture 350) platform. It is the company’s self-developed 350-volt powertrain platform.
These powertrains support a large range of electric motors ranging from 60 kW to 280 kW outputs, dual-motor setups, and batteries up to 80 kWh capacity. Mahindra can also offer a much better performance variant of the electric car.
