Benelli India on Thursday announced the launch of its new entry-level adventure motorcycle, the TRK 251. Its initial ex-showroom price in Delhi has been fixed at Rs 2.51 lakh. The new TRK 251 will be the entry-level model of the company’s popular adventure series ‘TRK’ motorcycle. Benelli India has already started the bookings for the new TRK 251. The company is also going to start its delivery soon.
Benelli TRK 251 Engine Power
The new TRK 251 motorcycle uses the same engine as the quarter-liter neo-retro offering, the Leoncino 250 motorcycle. It is a 250cc, four-stroke, single-cylinder engine. This engine generates peak power of 25.8 PS at 9250 rpm and peak torque of 21.1 Nm at 8000rpm. This engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
Benelli TRK 251 Features
Suspension and Fuel Tank: One of the key features of the new TRK 251 motorcycle is its massive 18-liter fuel tank which according to the company has been given in terms of its touring credentials. It gets a good ground clearance of 170mm. The motorcycle gets upside-down telescopic forks upfront for suspension and a telescopic coil spring oil at the rear.
Color: The new motorcycle has been made available in three color options – Glossy White, Glossy Black, and Glossy Grey.
Competition: Benelli’s new TRK 251 bike will give a direct competition to the Royal Enfield Himalayan motorcycle.
