OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7T
OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7T are some of the most anticipated smartphones for the year 2019. Rumors were on that the flagship duo will be the first 5G phones from OnePlus. But, a recent report from the closest source to the company has denied this rumor.
Carl Pei, the co-founder of OnePlus, has recently announced that the brand will be among the first brands that will launch a 5G phone in 2019. The company has also confirmed this announcement by mentioning that its team has conducted necessary tests for 5G at Qualcomm’s headquarters back in August.
However, the report has claimed that the first 5G phone from OnePlus will also be the first phone in a new range of phones. The naming format will also different than that for the company’s flagship phones. It means that the upcoming OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7T duo may not offer 5G support.

There is no point in rejecting this report because 5G is a relatively new and expensive technology. The company that has value for money as a USP may differ from a sudden spike in Oneplus 7 price in India of its flagship phones. Perhaps, this is the reason why OnePlus has decided to launch a new line of 5G-supported phones.
As per the report, the company will launch its first 5G phone at MWC (Mobile World Congress) in Barcelona, Spain. If it is true then we’ll have three smartphones from OnePlus in February 2019 as the premium 5G phone will join the flagship duo OnePlus 7 or OnePlus 7T.
We’re excited to welcome the first 5G phone, how about you?
