2021 Suzuki Hayabusa SuperSport Bike Delivery: Suzuki Motorcycle India has begun delivery of its much-awaited 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa Supersport. The company launched the Superbike earlier this year. Now the company has started sending the shipment of this Supersport bike to the dealership. With this, delivery of this sports superbike to customers has also started. Let us know that the first batch of this Supersport bike in the country was completely sold out. Due to this the company had to stop booking only two days after its launch. The first lot consists of 101 bikes that the company has started delivering to its customers.
Let us tell you that the 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is the third-generation model. The company has launched a new avatar with several changes in it. The first generation model of Suzuki Hayabusa was launched in the year 1998. The company sold this model until 2007. After which in the year 2008, the company introduced its second-generation model. Now the company has launched the third generation of its superbike.
Suzuki has introduced the Hayabusa Premium Superbike in an all-new avatar. The new Hayabusa uses the company’s new logo design. Along with this, the new design fuel tank has been given to the bike. Along with this, the sportbike has an aerodynamic face and chrome-plated long exhausts which gives the bike a more aggressive look than before. Apart from this, the bike will get 7-spoke alloy wheels that have been introduced with the new design. The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is offered in three dual-tone color options. These include Glass Sparkle Black with Candy Burn Gold, Candy Daring Red with Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Matte Stellar Blue Silver with Pearl Brilliant White.
2021 Suzuki Hayabusa SuperSport Bike Price in India
The 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa Sportbike is priced at Rs 16,40,000 in India. The new generation Hayabusa has become costlier by Rs 2,65,000 as compared to the previous model. The previous Hayabusa motorcycle was sold in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 13,75,000.
2021 Suzuki Hayabusa SuperSport Bike Powerful Engine
The new 2021 Hayabusa bike has an updated engine. It gets a 1,340 cc, inline 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that now complies with Euro 5 emission standards. This engine is equipped with a ride-by-wire electronic throttle system. Along with this, it also gets an updated intake and exhaust system. According to the company, take advantage of this new setup and it will be available to increase power and torque output in the mid-range.
2021 Suzuki Hayabusa SuperSport Bike Top Speed & Mileage
This engine generates power of 187.7 bhp at 9,700 rpm and peak torque of 150Nm at 7,000 rpm. The new bike will get 8 bhp less power as compared to the previous model. But Suzuki says that the new model is the fastest Hayabusa with strong torque delivery. This engine has been given a 6-speed gearbox as before. Its top speed is 298 kilometers per hour. This bike can accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just 3.2 seconds. The total weight of the motorcycle (curb weight) is 264 kg. The company claims that the new 2021 Hayabusa will give a mileage of 15 kmpl.
2021 Suzuki Hayabusa SuperSport Bike New Features
The bike is equipped with the company’s new Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) with SDMS-α. This gives the bike features such as 5 riding modes, power mode selector, engine brake control, traction control, bi-directional quick shift system, and anti-lift control system. It also provides a feature like Active Speed Limiter. The advantage is that the bike rider can set the speed limit of the bike.
2021 Suzuki Hayabusa SuperSport Bike New Instrument Console
The twin analog clock of the instrument console of this bike has also been updated. There is now a small TFT panel in the middle of the analog dial. Despite the update, the instrument console still looks like a fairly old-school bike. Other updates on the new 2021 Hayabusa include multi-engine power mode, a quick shifter, and a new electronic suspension. It may also include a Comprehensive Electronics Suite consisting of an Inert Measurement Unit (IMU) that will power the cornering ABS and traction control system.
