The payment service of WhatsApp, the world’s most used multimedia messaging app has been officially launched in Brazil. Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg gave this information in a Facebook post.

On the launch of the WhatsApp payment service in Brazil, Mark Zuckerberg said, ‘Today we are introducing WhatsApp payment service in Brazil. We are making the process of sending and receiving money as easy as sending photos. We are soon going to give small traders the convenience of buying and selling through WhatsApp.’

Zuckerberg said that it has partnered with local Brazilian banks for WhatsApp payments. He said that Brazil has become the first country in the world where the WhatsApp payment service has been introduced first. It will be launched soon in other countries.
