Suzuki Baleno Cross New Avatar Of Premium Hatchback Car - Tech Gami

Japan’s leading automobile manufacturer Suzuki has launched the crossover model of its premium hatchback car Baleno. The company has named this model Baleno Cross. It is based on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno Facelift sold in the Indian market. Maruti Suzuki has launched it in the international market in Colombia. The company has introduced the 2020 Suzuki Baleno Cross in 2 variants – MC GL MT and MC GL AT. Many changes have been made to the Baleno Cross compared to the Baleno found in India.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Engine

The new 2020 Suzuki Baleno Cross engine has a 1.4-liter petrol engine. This engine produces 91bhp of power at 6,000 RPM and 130 Nm of torque at 4,200 RPM. This engine comes with a 5-speed manual and 4-speed automatic transmission options.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Interior

Talking about the interior, the Baleno Cross has undergone minor changes. The car gets a blue finish and multifunctional 3-spoke steering wheel on the doors and seats inside. It gets a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The car will get 355-liter boot space. Folding the second-line seats in the car increases boot space to 755-liters.

New Look

The front of the new 2020 Suzuki Baleno car gets a new grille, redesigned headlight, and bumpers. The doors have side moldings, roof bars, and mudguards. Talking about dimensions, the height of the car is 1505 mm. It is 5 mm less than the Baleno sold in India. The car has dual-tone alloy wheels of the new design. Fenders on the wheel arches, thick black plastic cladding under the doors, and roof bars give the car a more attractive look than before.

Maruti Suzuki Baleno Security Features

The new Suzuki Baleno Cross car features safety features such as ABS, EBD, dual airbags, brake assist, 3-point seat belts for all passengers, ISOFIX anchors for the child seat, immobilizer, anti-theft alarm, and reverse sensors. Ventilated discs will be available in the front of the car and drum brakes in the rear.
