Tata Tiago XT (O) Launched in India
Tata Motors has launched a new variant of its Tata Tiago hatchback. The company has launched this new XT (O) variant in India at a Delhi ex-showroom price of Rs 5,47,900. It is based on the XT trim. The new variant will be available only in manual transmission. This new variant falls between the base XE and XT trims.
The new XT(O) variant is costlier by Rs 47,900 as compared to the XE trim. In this, LED turn indicators have been given with body-colored door ORVMs. It gets body-colored door handles, 14-inch steel rims, premium piano black finish on the steering wheel, interior lamps, piano black finish near the infotainment system, speed sensing auto door lock, day and night IRVM, electrically adjustable ORVMs, 4-speakers. Features like keyless entry, front, and rear power windows and steering mounted controls are provided.
The new variant is Rs 15,000 cheaper than the XT trim. However, it will not get features like Harman’s Connect Next infotainment, Bluetooth connectivity, AM/FM, speed-dependent volume control, and rear parking camera.
No mechanical changes have been made in the new variant. Talking about the power performance of Tata Tiago XT(O), it has been given a 1.2-liter Revotron petrol engine with BS6 compliant. Its engine generates maximum power of 85 bhp and a peak torque of 113 Nm. Its engine is equipped with a 5-speed AMT transmission.
Tata Tiago XTA Variants
Earlier in March this year, Tata Motors launched the new XTA variant of its Tiago hatchback in India. After the launch of this new trim, customers started getting four AMT variants in the Tiago line-up.
The new XTA variant of the Tiago is based on the XT trim. This is the reason why features like XT trim have been given in it. Harman’s 7-inch infotainment touchscreen has been given in this hatchback. In this, 15-inch alloy wheels have been given by the company. Apart from this, features like automatic climate control and digital instrument cluster are available in it.
