Benelli has globally unveiled its all-new Benelli 302R motorcycle. Benelli’s entry-level fully-faired motorcycle will get many new changes. The updated motorcycle looks more sporty than its previous model.
- Look and Design: The all-new Benelli 302R motorcycle gets sharp-looking body panels. The front headlamp of the bike has also been updated and now vertical projector lamps have been installed in it. LED turn indicators have been installed on both sides of the bike. The fuel tank given in the bike is more muscular and higher than before. This matches perfectly with the rider seat which is flatter than the previous model. The tail section of the bike also looks more sharp and attractive than before. The exhaust unit of the motorcycle is the same as the old model.
- Bike Weight: The frame of the new Benelli 302R bike has also been changed and it has become lighter than before. The company says that the total weight of the new bike is 22 kg less than the previous model. Now the weight of this motorcycle is around 182 kg.
- Engine: The first 302cc parallel-twin engine in the motorcycle has been given. This engine is under the new BS-6 fuel emission standards. This engine generates power of 34 bhp. There has been a slight decrease in the power of the bike. But since the bike has become lighter than before, its power-to-weight ratio has been much better.
- Braking and Suspension: Talking about the suspension of the new Benelli 302R motorcycle, it gets 41 mm front forks at the front, which come with pre-load adjustment. Along with this, the mono-shock suspension is also available which comes with pre-loaded adjustability. Talking about the braking of the bike, it gets a dual-disc 4-piston caliper in the front wheel and a single disc in the rear.
New Benelli 302R Motorcycle Price
The company plans to launch the new Benelli 302R motorcycle in India in the next few months. As far as the price of the bike is concerned, it can be quite competitive like the TRK 502 adventure bike. After launching in India, it will compete directly with the Kawasaki Ninja 300 motorcycle.
