Hyundai Tucson GL and GLS trims to soon get panoramic sunroof and wireless charging

– Tucson GLS likely to get these features only in 4×4 variant

Ahead of introducing a facelift version, the existing Hyundai Tucson GL and GLS variant will get an additional set of features in form of a panoramic sunroof, wireless charging, Auto Link and iblue smart remote application. It is speculated that these features in the GLS variant might be limited to the diesel four-wheel drive variant.

In addition to the above-mentioned features, the company is also likely to offer an additional set of features in form of automatic projector headlamps, 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control with rear AC vent and updated eight-inch infotainment system. Mechanically, the premium SUV will continue to be powered by the 2.0-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine that generates 153bhp at 6,200rpm and 192Nm of torque at 4,000rpm. The diesel version continues to be powered by a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder diesel unit that generates 182bhp of power at 4,000rpm and 400Nm of torque at between 1,750-2,750 rpm. All-wheel drive variant is available only in diesel. The engines are available in six-speed manual and automatic options.

The pricing aspect is not known for now and will be known in the days to come. However, we speculate that the feature loaded version of the Tucson is likely to cost around Rs 75,000 – Rs 85,000 more than the current version.
