Hyundai is constantly making changes in the variants of its midsize compact SUV Creta. Recently, the company also reduced some features in the base variant E of the Creta and added some new features to the EX, S, SX, and SX(O) trim. However, the craze for Creta is still not over among the customers. In May also, 7,527 units of the Creta were sold, with the waiting period of many of its variants up to 9 months. In April itself, the company had increased the prices of Creta by up to 20 thousand rupees. Here’s what’s special about the new SX Executive.

Difference Between Hyundai Creta SX Executive and Hyundai Creta SX Variants

Not many features are available in the new cheaper trim. For example, the 10.25-inch touchscreen system with BlueLink connectivity suite is not available as standard on the Creta SX Executive. Instead, it can be purchased as an accessory, for which a separate price will be charged. Apart from this, many features like an exterior chrome door handle, Arkamys sound system, voice recognition button are not available in this new variant. Factory fitted features include Bluetooth mic, steering mounted audio controls, shark fin antenna, rearview camera, and USB port. On the other hand, if the buyers want, they will be able to get the audio accessories installed at the dealership itself and this will not affect the warranty.

What Features Are Available

Then the question arises that what is available in this mid-level variant of Hyundai Creta. Hyundai Creta SX Executive variant gets features like 17-inch alloy wheels, panoramic sunroof, 8-inch touchscreen for the infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, cruise control, automatic climate control. In terms of safety, it gets safety features like Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Assist, Rear Disc Brake.

Popular SUVs in India

Hyundai Creta is a popular car in India. Recently Hyundai Creta touched a new milestone. The company has now managed to sell more than 6 lakh units of this compact SUV in India. What makes this achievement special is the fact that this SUV first came to India in 2015. That is six lakh units in six years. Hyundai has managed to sell an average of one lakh units of the Creta every year since its first launch in the country. What is even more interesting is that the automaker has sold the last one lakh units in just eight months. Let us inform you that Hyundai has topped the list of car makers in India with the highest sales in the month of May. The most important thing about this is that with restrictions like lockdown in many parts of the country, the best-selling car is tied on the head of the Hyundai Creta SUV in the pandemic-hit market.
