Honda is going to launch its new Honda HRV Hybrid SUV in India today. Honda will launch a hybrid version of this popular compact SUV today. A teaser image of the Honda HR-V SUV’s rear profile was recently released. This car will be launched in the market with two engine options, diesel, and petrol. Let’s know some special features of the car.

Honda HRV Hybrid Looks and features

The new model will be more stylized than the current model of the Honda HR-V. In this, LED headlamps and LED DRLS can be used. The company’s new HR-V can use an older nose grille with a wider front grille. To give this car a sporty look, the company can offer dual-tone machine-cut alloy wheels with cladding on the side body and wheel arches. Also, the interior may include a new touch screen infotainment system, in which Apple Car Play and Auto Android can be supported.
The New Generation HR-V is not an electric SUV, but the car will be launched in a strong hybrid version. In HR-V, the company will use the eHEV powertrain. Which has also been used in the new generation Honda City Hybrid. However, the Honda City Hybrid was not introduced in India. This hybrid system uses 1 petrol engine and 2 electric motors, which allows you to convert the car into any hybrid mode, petrol mode, and full-electric mode.

Honda HR-V Hybrid Engine

The company will use hybrid powertrains. In the new generation Honda City Hybrid, the company has used a 1.5-litre petrol engine that generates 98ps of power and 127nm of torque on the petrol. It is electric motor gives 109 ps power and 253nm torque. At the same time, the other motor works only as a starter-generator. Similarly, the new Honda HR-V may have a 1.5-liter turbo petrol engine, which will come with 2 electric motors. Coming to the global market, this car can have 3 more engine options which can be 1.5L turbo petrol, 1.8L naturally aspirated petrol engine and 1.5 turbo diesel engine, both manual and automatic gearboxes will be on offer.
