78 km range TVS iQube electric scooter launched in Delhi - Image

TVS Motor Company launched its iQube electric scooter in New Delhi on Thursday. This electric scooter will be available at select dealerships in NCR (National Capital Region). The company offers a warranty of 3 years or up to 50,000 km with the TVS iQube Electric Scooter. The company is preparing to launch this scooter for sale in other cities of the country soon. In the Indian market, the TVS iQube electric scooter competes with the Bajaj Chetak and Ather electric scooters.

TVS iQube Features

The scooter comes with the company’s next-generation TVS SmartXonnect platform. Along with this, it also gets an advanced TFT cluster and TVS iCube app. Through the connectivity app, this scooter offers many features such as geo-fencing, navigation assist, remote battery charge status, last park location, incoming call alert / SMS alert. It also offers day and night displays, Q-Park Assist, multi-select economy, and innovative features like power mode and regenerative braking.

TVS iQube electric scooter Price

The TVS iQube electric scooter is priced at Rs 1,08,012 in Delhi. The ex-showroom price of this scooter is Rs 1,36,077. But after taking advantage of the additional subsidy from the FAME scheme and Delhi State Government, its price goes down.

TVS iQube Electric has originally launched a year ago in Bangalore. Where the on-road price of this scooter is Rs 1,15,000. The company says it has seen an enthusiastic response from customers ‘despite the epidemic’ regarding its scooter.

TVS iQube Range

The TVS battery-powered scooter is equipped with a 4.4 kW electric motor. This motor can run this electric scooter at a speed of 40 kmph in just 4.2 seconds. Its top speed is 78 kilometers per hour. It has a lithium-ion battery pack of 2.25kWh capacity. After full charging, the TVS iQube electric scooter can travel 75 kilometers. It takes about 5 hours to be fully charged.
