There will be no change in the engine specifications of the new Maruti Swift. It will get the same 1.2-liter K12 dual-jet engine as before. This engine generates a power of 89 bhp. Apart from this, 48V mild-hybrid system can be given in the new car instead of 12V. Globally, the new Swift will be offered with 1.2L petrol hybrid and 1.4L turbo petrol engine options. This will also increase the mileage of the car as well as be in line with the upcoming new fuel emission norms.
